O Canada – Part 2
Lucky me during my trip to China last week, I was able to get an upgrade on my Air Canada flights to what they called Executive First Class. Essentially they ditched first class and made the front part of the plane really sweet futuristic pods. A pretty mod layout if you ask me. Just check out all of the features of my pod:
- 6′3″ (191 cm) long in lie-flat mode
- 31″ (79 cm) wide at the shoulders
- Guaranteed aisle access with adjustable head and footrests, comfortable pillow and duvet
- Oversized one-piece tray table for dining and working
- Lumbar support
- 12-inch touch-screen TV equipped with noise-canceling Sennheiser headphones
- Workstation with personal reading light and storage
- In-seat power for your laptop
- Personal access to hundreds of hours of top-rated entertainment
- Single-pin audio jack for your own headset
- XM Satellite Radio showcasing premium music and talk shows
- Tethered remote control
- Ambient mood lighting in synch with time zones to ease jet lag
- Self-serve stand-up bar available on our 777 aircraft
I would not stray away from flying Air Canada on any of my next travels.
