Pb Elemental—Crocket Residence

CrocketResidence_Pb04

Pb Elemental pride themselves on what they call “Elemental Architecture”, and from the look of their site it’s clear why. The firm’s grasp of the interplay of material, space and form allow them to create  projects like the 1600 sq ft Crocket residence, and make it seem more like 3200 sq ft of luxury, all while doing it for the tiny budget of just $168 a sq ft. With a resume of work ranging from private residence, to commercial and mixed use none less impressive than the other, and all thoroughly enjoyable for the fan of modern architecture to drink. It’s wonderful to see architects around the country embracing a movement to beautifully designed modern and yet affordable solutions. We hope to see more great things coming out of this wonderful little firm from the Pacific-Northwest.

  1. This is our house and it is fabulous if we do say so – PB was delightful to work with – our architects, Mark & Dave were true partners – we wake up every day in our light filled home amazed at the wonderful space that we get to live in. We had a very tight budget and a TINY lot (affectionately known as the “postage stamp”) – PB did help make our dream come true, and we wish all of the team lots of continued successes.

  2. Mary,

You have a wonderful home, and it is great to hear that you had a great experience working with your architects. I wished more people would see the value in investing in the architectural design portion of building.

  3. Hi Mary,

Yes, it is indeed a beautiful design. Actually i was looking for some inspiration on the Net when I crossed a picture of your house. I am located in Belgium and I believe that this is exactly the kind of example i was looking for.
