Childs Play
We’ve all seen the drawings of children, be it your own kids or your coworkers proudly displayed on their cube walls. The images often times take a little bit of translation before the picture truly comes to life but once you know what the thinking was behind there always seem to be little details that reveal the wonderful, creative and imaginative nature of children.
So what would happen if you brought these drawings to life? Korean artist Yeondoo Jung has done just that, in a series of photographs entitled Wonderland, based on the drawings of children Jung translates the artistic expressions of our children into photographic stories. Suddenly the real and surreal have collided into imaginative and stimulating images that totally captivate your attention and for me, bring a smile to my face.
