I literally just stumbled on the work of CAKE (an industrial design firm in Brooklyn, NY) as I was looking for modern dishware for a recent project my creative agency is working on. A spin-off creative outlet, founded by the same industrial design team that just 5 years earlier founded the product development consulting firm MAKE. The idea at the core of this spin-off business is to allow themselves the creative freedom to explore ideas and products that find their roots in imagination, form and nature. while allowing the perfect imperfections that the artists hands leave behind to remain a part of each piece.
