Event Review – Design Harvest
As the weekend drew near, Ali and I decided it would be a good idea to go to Chicago for the weekend. This idea grew and we ended up going on Priceline so we could stay Saturday night. While we were making plans on Friday, Ali found out that the Design Harvest Festival was happening this weekend. We decided to go right when it started on Saturday (probably not the hippest of times) at 11 am. What we found was a smattering of tents contained with some pretty cool stuff surrounded by some very cool stores like Urban Remains, Post 27 and Salvage One. The site touted 50 vendors. Honestly, the event did not seem that large and only took us a couple hours to walk but it was still a great time with some really interesting modern design.
Vendor Highlights:
- Jason Lewis Furniture
- Unison
- ReMod Furnishings
- Atelier
