I know very little about architects Alan Chu and Cristiano Kato but I love their work. In particular I find their use of highly refined materials and textured incredibly pleasing to the eye. Two projects in particular Ap 1511 and Apt 131 showcase their use of wood planking in highly refined, modern spaces to create a sophisticated, minimal and yet inviting and homey settings.
