Modern desk
As we have been working on the buildout of our new office I have spent countless hours looking at office furniture– from chairs to desks. In this process one piece that caught my eye was this great looking desk. I’m not usually a fan of angles but this piece really appealed to me. Unfortunately, I don’t really know any details about who made the table, where it’s sold or what it’s made out of (I believe it’s a piece of Hülsta, although I couldn’t find it on their website). What I do know is that the table is actually two pieces that can be configured into two really wonderfully complementing ways to create two very different, functional and beautiful looking forms. This is really a great example of how modern design with its simple lines and use of materials can solve many design challenges and look beautiful doing it.
